Exam Days and examdays.app are provided by NETKREATIVES BV, Volaardestraat 88, 9200 Dendermonde, Belgium, enterprise number 0638.905.445, the controller of the information described here. Our privacy contact is [email protected].
Your exams and study data
Exam names, subjects, dates, reminders, appearance preferences and study records are stored locally on your device. The app and its widgets share data through a local Apple App Group container. Exam Days does not require an account and does not operate an exam-data backend or its own cloud-sync service. Device backups may contain app data according to your Apple settings.
Usage analytics
We use TelemetryDeck to understand app usage and diagnose problems with onboarding and purchases. Usage events can include screens visited, actions taken, app version and technical or regional information, with a hashed analytics identifier. We do not put exam names, subjects, exam dates, reminder text or study notes in these events. We use these measurements to maintain and improve the app; a hashed identifier should not be confused with a named account.
Purchases and restore
Apple processes in-app payments. RevenueCat helps validate purchases, restore access and maintain the unlock state. It processes transaction and entitlement information, technical app/device information, and the app’s purchase/analytics identifiers. The app caches its last-known unlock state locally. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Deleting the app does not erase Apple’s purchase records.
Install attribution and Meta
Ad measurement depends on the app version. In newer builds with ad measurement switched off, no Meta SDK starts. Earlier versions may use Meta for install attribution and app events outside the EU, EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland; an unknown storefront also keeps that earlier integration off, and advertising-identifier collection is disabled in that integration. Versions that offer an Ad measurement choice let you change it in Settings and require permission before starting in consent-first regions; an advertising identifier is available only with Apple’s tracking permission. Where no ad SDK runs, the app registers installs with Apple’s SKAdNetwork. Meta may receive app events and technical device/network information where enabled, never your exam content. Exam Days has no Facebook Login or Facebook-linked accounts, and this website has no Meta pixel.
Reminders and external links
With your permission, exam notifications are scheduled locally by iOS. You can change notification permissions in device Settings. Official-source links open external websites, which have their own privacy policies.
Support correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you attach. An in-app feedback draft can include app/build version, device model, operating-system version and locale; a date report can include exam/source details. You can edit the draft before sending it. Cloudflare forwards [email protected] to our Netkreatives support inbox. We use correspondence to answer your request and investigate the issue.
This website
The website is hosted on our Coolify-managed infrastructure, with Cloudflare providing DNS, proxy/security services and email routing. Serving a page involves processing technical request information such as an IP address, requested URL and browser information. We do not add advertising pixels, analytics cookies or third-party font requests to this website. Hosting and security services may process logs needed to operate and protect it.
Retention and deletion
Local app data remains until you delete it or delete the app; offloading preserves its data. Backups are managed through your Apple settings. We retain support emails for up to two years after the last contact, unless an applicable legal obligation requires longer retention. Provider records follow the relevant service arrangements, technical retention limits and legal requirements. Removing local data does not also remove analytics or transaction records. Contact us to request deletion of identifiable information we control.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of personal information, object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact [email protected]; we respond within one month and may request only information reasonably needed to verify and locate your request. An email address alone may not identify an anonymous or aggregated event. You may complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels (dataprotectionauthority.be), or the authority where you live.
Purposes, providers and international processing
We process information to provide the app and confirm purchases (performance of a contract), improve reliability through usage statistics, protect the website and answer support requests (our legitimate interests, subject to your rights), comply with legal obligations, and measure advertising with consent where required. Providers include TelemetryDeck in Germany, RevenueCat in the United States, Apple, Meta and Cloudflare. Some providers may process information outside the EEA, including in the United States, under applicable transfer safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Their privacy policies explain their arrangements. We do not sell personal information.
Students and younger users
Exam Days is used by students. It does not ask for your name, birth date or an account, and your exam content stays on your device. Purchase, usage and install-measurement services may still process information as described above. A parent or guardian can contact us with a question or deletion request concerning a younger user.
